Follow Sequences
Big Diamond: From split lines, beginning at A or C (or opposing), lines will split onto a slay at the wall to create a giant diamond shape in the arena.
Big Key: A follow keyhole shape. Commander will specify the size of the keyhole. All riders follow the leader. (Other big shapes can also be done, including dodge, combo)
DNA/Diamond DNA: From wide waterfall or rein/tier, riders use points in arena to weave in and out of the other line. Exit out in the natural way (straight ahead)
Dory: From tiered/twin lines, fish out following the riders that are in front of you, crossing in the gaps of the other line
Goldfish: Ride down the second half of a hill shape on first go (or at X), then follow fish in (first rider goes, others follow) on second go. Fish shape can also be ridden at larger sizes, which will be specified by commander.
Vase: From split lines heading towards eachother on the long wall, when the leaders meet the RSVP letters they will slant out to where the centerline meets the 20m dots. They will then trot along the centerline until reaching the 10m dots, where they will slant out again to the outer corner letters (MFKH) until they reach the wall.
Delayed Half Eight: A half eight with a specified distance of trotting straight along the centerline in between each half moon. EX: If the commander wants you to ride the shape with 4 dotted lines of straight trotting in between, the line leader would start the first half moon when they are 2 dotted lines past the midline (half the distance the commander asked). When they finish the first moon, they should end up where the 10m dots meet the centerline, and they will trot straight along the centerline until they reach the opposite 10m dots. They will have covered the distance of 4 dotted lines at this point, which means they will finish the half eight with another half moon back to the opposite long wall.
Fortune Cookie: From a twin line or tier, the leaders will cut away from eachother and ride half of the specified circle size around x. When they've barely passed left to left, a 2nd go will be called where both lines cut back into the circle (towards x) in the fashion of a rein cross over.
Twister: With split lines heading towards eachother on the centerline, at X (or any specified point) they will form the specified half circle size away from eachother. After passing left to left on the midline, they will form another half circle of the same size in the opposite direction. When completed, each line should be back on the centerline passing left to left.
Note: See our "Cubs" tab to find out what a half circle is.
Divide: From a twin line or tier, on go, the odds of each line will follow their leader into a quarter of a specified circle size away from the other tier/twin line. The evens of each line will follow their evens leader into half of the specified circle size. This will create 4 new lines, 2 of which are going away from each other and 2 of which are trotting in a new tier.
